Sarah!

Boy, that got your attention, didn't it.
The Left is all over Sarah Palin's gaff about "our North Korean allies". Once again they are showing their fear of Sarah. Never mind "Barry's" gaffes, listed below, courtesy of RadioViceOnline:
"My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…
Of course, the paragraph above is based on a series of misstatements and verbal gaffes made by Barack Obama (I didn’t have enough time to do one for Joe Biden). YouTube links are provided just in case you doubt the accuracy of these all too human slips-of-the-tongue. If you can’t remember hearing about them, that’s because for the most part the media didn’t consider them newsworthy. I have no complaint about that. Everybody makes the occasional verbal gaffe – even news anchors."
Apparently, the Left thinks Sarah Palin can win the Republican nomination and the general election in 2012, or they would just be ignoring her, instead of showing a visceral hate for her and her family and are doing everything they can do to destroy her (something they always resort to, with any conservative that they perceive as a threat to their agenda), like the numerous frivolous ethics charges filed against her. ALL of which have been dismissed.
My guess is they learned their lesson in 1979-80, when they were salivating at the opportunity for Jimmy Carter to run against Ronald Reagan. Why, he was just a "B" movie actor, a stupid cowboy, a doofus, he would blow up the world, etc., etc., etc. Would anybody like to remind me of how that election turned out?
Yep, you got it right, Reagan took 44 States and Carter 6 States plus D.C. 489 Electoral votes for Reagan to 49 for Carter. A total wipe out!
Is the Left afraid of a repeat? After all, history always seems to repeat itself, doesn't it. Except for the severe inflation (which may yet rear it's ugly head), the Obama Administration is eerily similar to Carter's, both domestically and in Foreign Policy.
While I was writing this post, I got the following letter in an email from buddy, Steve. I have added the phrase "or a Senator from Illinois".

By Dewie Whetsell,  Alaskan Fisherman.

The last 45 of my 66 years I've spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska. I understand Alaska politics but

never understood national politics well until this last year.  Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it.  It's not about persona, style or, rhetoric, it's about doing things.  Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here.

1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's "Corrupt Bastards Club" (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are). Name another governor
"or a Senator from Illinois" in this country that has ever done anything similar.

2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES." Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out." They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country
"or a Senator from Illinois" that has done anything similar.

3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as pork. "She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the when-hell-freezes-over" stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we'll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor's jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning - I imagine - that she's packing heat herself). I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors
"or a Senator from Illinois".

4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed "gosh and golly" mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.

5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.

6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that's just a cover-up. I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors
"or a Senator from Illinois" who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. I won't be holding my breath.

By the way, she was content to return to Alaska after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda.  Without warning, it will spin around and tear your face off. Shoulda known better.

You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the Democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her. I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers, and bitter ex-presidents' wives.

So "You go, Girl." I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals.

I rest my case. Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.

This blogger is endorsing Sarah Palin for the 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination and for President in 2012.
I would love for her to pick New Jersey Governor Chris Christie or Senator Elect Marco Rubbio of Florida as her running mate.

New Homework Assignments and a "Blast from the Past"

I just finished reading a great book, "Samuel Adams, a Life", by Ira Stoll. It is the biography of a man, who was a fiery advocate of Liberty, and by his actions he became known as the "Father of the American Revolution". He is usually overlooked when the "Founding Fathers" are mentioned, but as one of the Founding Fathers and signers of the "Declaration of Independence", his teachings are embedded in our early history, and are a part of the soul of people today who fight the intrusion of government into our lives, and resulting loss of freedoms. For anyone interested in freedom, American History, and the "American Dream", this book is a must read.

"Rules for Radical Conservatives", by David Kahane is another book which I am about half way through, it is a tongue-in-cheek description of how the Progressives have insidiously taken over the Democrat party, the government bureaucracy, and Academia. It then describes how the Progressive's methods can be turned against them and used to turn back their agenda.

Most people have probably read the next book I am going to recommend, but now that the Obama agenda is probably dead legislatively, he will make every effort to bypass Congress, and force his agenda on us through bureaucratic regulations. This is a scary book that should be reread, because it is coming at us like an F5 tornado. For those of you who don't pay attention or "pooh-pooh" it,  in the not too distant future, you'll look around, and say "What the hell happened?". The book is  "1984", by George Orwell.

Happy Holidays (UTBKA[used to be known as] Merry Christmas!)

Remember years ago, for those of you old enough to remember those good old days, when the break from school, from about 12/23 until about 1/2, was called "Christmas vacation"? Remember when you went into stores after Thanksgiving and there were ads and banners and signs all saying "Merry Christmas"? Remember the Nativity scene on the Town green? Remember the Christmas grab bag gifts in your classroom?
Now it's "Winter Holiday" and 'Happy Holidays". No more grab bag gifts, visits from Santa Claus, or Christmas trees. Nativity scene, what Nativity scene? It's all gone, thanks to political correctness brought to you by the Progressives or Liberals (pick your own term for those idiots). They claim it's because of the "Separation of Church and State" in the Constitution. Well, guess what. It's NOT in the Constitution! The Constitution guarantees "Freedom OF Religion", not "Freedom FROM Religion". The Constitution only states that Congress shall not create a national religion.
Yeh, Jon, we know all about this, so where are you going with this? Well, the other day I heard that the Muslims planning the Mosque near Ground Zero in New York City are applying for a $5 million grant from the Federal Government to help with the construction. That wave you see coming out of Washington is the Left Wing hypocrisy oozing out of that "fine city".
Anybody want to take me up on a bet as to whether that grant gets approved. I'll bet it does. Any takers?
Where is the ACLU? Shouldn't they be all over this! Separation of Church and State, yeh, right! I'm waiting for their response, but I'm not holding breath while I wait, I want to live a little longer.

The Bill of Rights?? Pat me down??Baaaa! Baaaa!

Shortly after the U. S. Constitution was ratified, some of the Founding Fathers thought that it did not convey enough rights to the "people" as individuals, so they developed and ratified the first Ten amendments which became known as the "Bill of Rights". Over the years, especially in the last 100 years or so, there have been major assaults on them. We have seen all sorts of "gun control" laws passed (for our protection, of course), in violation of the Second Amendment, the tenth Amendment has been dead for quite awhile (see "Obamacare" as the latest example), and I'm not sure the ninth amendment was ever adhered to. The first amendment is in the process of being trashed by the ACLU's attacks on the Christian religion, the attempts by Congress to control Freedom of Speech through the "McCain-Feingold Bill" and the now apparently dead (Thank God) "Disclose Act", the Freedom to Assemble is under attack by all the bashing and demonizing of people participating in the Tea Party demonstrations. Tell me how many participants of the 10/2 "One Nation Working Together" Socialist rally or the Stephen Colbert/John Stewart left wing rally a few weeks later were demonized? That's OK, I'll wait while you do an Internet search to find someone who was. No luck? I didn't think you'd find anyone!
Now the Fourth Amendment is under attack in our nation's airports. The Fourth Amendment reads "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause.........................."
The nun in her 80's, the screaming 3 year old, or the woman in the wheelchair who "opted out" of the full body scans, because they basically show you nude, and may emit dangerous radiation to the "scanner" and the "scannee", were "patted down" under the new rules from Homeland Security. The new "pat downs" involve touching of the breasts on women and touching of the genitals of both sexes. Did the TSA have some kind of probable cause that these three people were planning on bombing the flights they were going to board? I don't think so. I have heard that the Dept. of Homeland Security is considering the possibility of granting exemptions, on religious grounds, to Muslim women wearing Muslim clothing. Weren't all the terrorist attacks against this country committed by Muslims? Yeh, that's what I thought, too.
Pilots are also required to go through the scans also. Why! When they get in the cockpit and get airborne, they can fly the plane right into a building. They don't need explosives or weapons. Talk about idiotic, but then we are dealing with the government.
None of the attempted bombings in the past few years originated on domestic flights in this country. They all originated on flights coming from foreign nations. If Homeland Security and our intelligence agencies were doing their jobs they would be looking at people who may have paid cash for a one way ticket or is a middle eastern appearing young male. My God, Jon, are you advocating "profiling"? You betcha! 3 year olds, nuns, and people in wheelchairs are not terrorists! Young middle eastern type males are!
There is an apparent effort to get anyone flying over the Thanksgiving holiday to opt out of the body scan and force the "pat downs" resulting in a major slowdown at the nation's airports, delayed flights, etc. Works for me, it's called civil disobedience. To those of you on the left, remember the 60's and 70's. Political correctness is totally out of control and if we continue to go along with crap, then I guess we have become a nation of sheep. Baaaaaaa!

Trifecta For Tyranny

I got this from RadioViceOnline, the official web home of the Jim Vicevich Show, WTIC 1080 AM, Monday-Friday 9:00AM to Noon. For those of you out of the area, it can be heard live on your computer, if you are so inclined.
It was posted by Jim's sister who lives in Florida.

"I received what follows from a very good friend.  It is too topical and powerful to keep to myself.
There are basically three things that give us power over our government, our religion, our guns, and our wealth.
Religion gives us power because it maintains the notion that our rights are provided by our creator, not a king, elected body, or a document.  The rights that we, as individuals, possess transcend any edict passed by other men, and, thus, they cannot be taken from us by man or government.  It is worth mentioning, here, that while bowing may be customary when meeting heads of state around the world, in America, we bow only in places of worship.
Our guns give us the ability to defend ourselves against errant governmental authorities should such authorities attempt to deprive us of our rights.
And, finally, our wealth makes possible our financial independence from government lest we are tempted to surrender our rights in exchange for sustenance.
With these three things, it would be very difficult for tyranny to establish itself in our nation.  Without these things, however, we become little more than fodder for tyrants.  That is why I worry.
It is no secret that for years there have been those in government who have gone through great pain to eradicate any mention of God or Creator or religion from public policy.  Prayer is disallowed in schools or public buildings, religious displays are banned, even the Pledge of Allegiance has been all but eliminated from national thought.  Recently, President Obama, speaking on two separate occasions, misquoted our Declaration of Independence by stating that we are “endowed with unalienable rights”, omitting the phrase “by our creator”.  Call me crazy, but, I believe that was no accident.  The same President has been telling us for two years that the government will provide the “right to health care”, among other things, thus advancing the notion that rights come not from our Creator, but from the government.  Note the subtlety here, the goal is not to ban religion, but to trivialize it.
On the subject of guns, it has been obvious for decades that many in our government wished the Second Ammendment had never been written, and have been working feveriously to whittle away at our right to keep and bear arms wherever and whenever they can (for our own protection, mind you).  Again, we are reminded of the President’s quote while on the campaign trail that we, out of fear and ignorance, desperately cling to our guns and religion.  There he trivializes both the First and Second Amendments in a single sentence.
But what of our wealth?  Sure they can tax us, but they cannot take away what we’ve already been taxed on, and have managed to save, can they?  Well, maybe not directly.  But what if they were to create massive deficits, so massive, in fact, that there would be no way our nation could repay our debtors.  Under such conditions it might become tempting to pay those debts through “monitization”.  Of course, the long term effect of printing money is inflation, or as Reagan put it, the cruelest tax of all.  No, the government may not take our wealth away, but it can make it worth less, or even, worthless.
Ultimately, through such political sleight of hand, the three things that give us our power over our government are rendered powerless — the tyrant’s trifecta.
But, they wouldn’t take advantage of that, would they?
Hum, think about that."

Thanks!!

To my father, a Navy veteran of World War II (Battleship USS Indiana - South Pacific), his brother Franklin who served with General George Patton's Third Army in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy (including The Monte Cassino battle) his brother Donald who was killed in Burma, my uncle Ray Stacy (Navy vet prior to World War II), my cousin Ray Stacy, Jr. (Nuclear sub veteran during the cold war), several cousins who served in Vietnam, one in the Navy, one in the Army, and two in the Marines, and two second cousins Richard and Danielle Allaire, currently serving in the Air Force. A couple of close friends Steve and Dave (you know who you are). Thank you all, your service will never be forgotten, and God Bless you all. (This includes anyone I may have forgotten.)

You Can't Legislate Economic Laws

I have posted this story before, but with Thanksgiving coming and it's roots originating with the Pilgrims, I thought I'd post it again. Capitalism, i.e. Free Markets, will always work if you allow them it operate, and Socialism won't.  Always does, always will!

Plymouth Plantation
When the Pilgrims first landed in Plymouth, Massachusetts in the Fall of 1620, Governor William Bradford set up the colony so that everyone would work for the good of the colony and all the output was to be shared. In other words, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need". A Socialist Society. The winter of 1620-21 was extremely harsh and about half of the colony died. Many of the colonists in subsequent years refused to work the fields and preferred to steal food. Governor Bradford wrote that the colony was riddled with corruption, confusion, near famine, and discontent. The crops were small because they were repeatedly stolen until they were almost inedible. This situation continued through the winters of 1621-22 and 1622-23.
The harvest of 1623 was different. The harvest that summer was very large and ended all the theft and famine. In fact, by the summer of 1624, the colonists had produced enough corn to start exporting the surplus.

What changed?

Governor Bradford abandoned Socialism. He gave each household a piece of their own land, and said they could grow their own crops and keep or trade them away as they saw fit. Production soared. He had basically replaced Socialism with the Free Market System.

As they say "the rest is history".

As Margaret Thatcher said: "The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money"

For Those of You Drinking the MSNBC Kool-Aid…

Seems there are people out there who contend that Fox News is biased to the right, but Cable channels like MSNBC deal only in "pure" journalism. Is Fox biased to the right? Absolutely! However, they do have Liberals on their panels when they discuss issues and more often than not they have on both a Liberal and a Conservative arguing each other. This is known as "fair and balanced". MSNBC and the other networks don't even make a pretense at doing anything like that.
The best part, however, is, I don't mind a bit that both sides are doing it. It's known as "Freedom of Speech", guaranteed by our Constitution, and is a result, at least partially, from the "Citizen's United" case that the Supreme Court ruled on late last year. That was one of the best decisions in the history of our country.
For those of you who think MSNBC is as pure as the wind driven snow, read below and watch the video.

Got this part, below, in part from Radiovice Online:

There are political commentators on all “news” networks. If you can not figure out the difference between a commentator like Sean Hannity and an anchor like Bret Baier, I’m not going to be able to help you. But MSNBC staff like Rachel Maddow coming out definitively saying Fox News is “Faux News” is pathetic and insane.
I picked up on this Newsbusters story last week I think. I can’t find the story now, but it revolved around a clip from Hannity where a congressman asked the viewing audience for monetary support and directed them to a political campaign website.
The left went nuts.
As a reminder, Hannity is a commentator.
To wrap up this story, and in an attempt to quiet down the MSNBC fans out there, we’re highlighting this video so you all can get off your high horse. Video efforts by Johnny Dollar’s Place. Allahpundit at Hot Air notes…
Wait, didn’t Rachel Maddow assure us on Friday that, unlike those mercenary wingnuts at Fox News who let Republican guests pitch donation URLs on the air, MSNBC is “not a political operation”? Six full minutes of fact-checkin’ fun here via Johnny Dollar, who not only spent hours piecing this lowlight reel together but has an accompanying post delving further into the hypocrisy.

Suspended!

I just heard that MSNBC has suspended Keith Oberman, without pay, indefinitely, because he violated NBC ethics by donating to 3 Democrat political candidates, but there is no bias in the lame stream media. Yeh, right!

Over the top Hypocrisy!!

We Can Probably Steal It

I just sent the following email to the Secretary of State and the Attorney General offices  in Connecticut. Can't Richard Dodd (oops, I meant Blumenthal) find a TV camera to stand in front of and comment on this?

"I demand a total impartial investigation into the Governor’s election. Declaring a winner before all the votes were counted is OUTRAGEOUS!!! If it had been reversed, and Foley was leading, you’d be all over this like syrup on pancakes. Chicago thug politics comes to Connecticut.

Joseph Stalin has been quoted as saying "Those who cast the votes decide nothing; those who count the votes decide everything."

Letter to Congressman Chris Murphy

Dear Congressman Murphy,
Congratulations on your win. Below is a letter I had planned on sending to Sam Caligiuri when he won the election. Obviously, I was wrong, but since all your campaign ads talked about working with the Republicans, now is your chance.
Since your big government, liberal agenda has been thoroughly rejected across the country, I would like to know which items listed in the letter you are willing to support and which you oppose.

" Dear Congressman elect Sam Caligiuri,
First of all, let me congratulate you on your win over Chris Murphy. You have no idea how glad I am he is gone. We need no more of his big government elitism.
You were elected in a “wave” election that shows that “We the People” want a change in Washington and a total reversal of recent policies. We want to get back to limited Constitutional government.
Since I have fought hard to defeat Chris Murphy, I have listed below a list of things I would like to see come out of Congress next year. I understand that you are only 1 out of 435, but we have to start somewhere.

1. Repeal Obamacare, if that doesn’t work, starve it so it
never gets established until 2012 when we can elect a
   Republican President and repeal it.

2. Same thing with the Financial Reform legislation.

3. Ban ALL earmarks

4. Privatize at least part of Social Security and raise the
retirement age for younger people to 70, and raise the
age for taking early Social Security and lower the
benefits for those that do, unless they are disabled.

5. Institute a voucher system for Medicare recipients so
they can shop for their own insurance in the free market.

6. Institute Tort reform

7. Pass the “Enumerated Powers Act”

8. Pass a balanced budget amendment.

9. Prevent the EPA from instituting “Cap and Trade” through
   regulation.

10. Pass a Term Limit Amendment

11. No taking of 401K accounts or private pension accounts
by the Government, to roll them into the Social Security fund.

12. No “Card Check”

13. Pass "handgun permit reciprocity among the States"
      legislation.

I am a Senior citizen (68 years old) and I am on Social Security and Medicare. I author a blog (http://quint-essentialconservativeramblings.blogspot.com/, love to write letters to the Editor, and love to call my Congressman and yell, holler, and scream if he‘s doing something I don‘t like. I run my own business, North Forty Pest Control. If you are ever in the area, I would love to get together with you, discuss the issues, and I’ll buy the coffee."
                                                                                           Sincerely,

                                                                                          Jon Quint

I'll Take It

While it didn't go quite as good as I had hoped, it went just fine, thank you. We took the House by the largest margin since 1932 and picked up at least 6 and possibly as many as 9 seats in the Senate. The Obama agenda is DEAD! He will not now be able to pass anything he wants anymore - No Cap & Trade, no Card Check, no taking of 401K and private pension plans and rolling them into Social Security, and no comprehensive immigration reform without first securing the borders. We will hopefully start seeing a rollback of his agenda that has been passed or at least the prevention of it's implementation. The Democrat Senators up for reelection in 2 years are going to have to take a move back to the center and will not blindly support Obama's far left agenda, for fear they won't get reelected. A lot of those up for reelection are from normally Republican or swing states and have seen the writing on the wall. If nothing passes Congress for two years that will be great. There will be no further intrusion into our lives.
Up next - 2012. Is Obama even going to run after the defeat the Democrats took last night? Maybe this was the slap upside the head he needed to understand that the American people don't want his Socialism, but I think he is too much of an ideologue to come to the center the way Clinton did in 1995. I'm predicting that he will be challenged by someone in the Democrat Party for the presidential nomination and Obama will lose.
It's looking very good for the Republicans in 2012. They have taken quite a few new Governorships and state legislatures, which means the Republicans will now be in charge of redistricting in those states based on the recent census, and as always that redistricting will favor Republican Congressional candidates just the way it does when things are the other way around. Also, this year's census will result in several normally Democrat leaning states losing Congressional seats to states that typically lean Republican.
In 2012, the Democrats will have to defend 23 incumbent Senators and the Republicans only 10, which means the Democrat campaign money will have to be spread around to over twice as many candidates as the Republicans. A good chance for them to pick up several more Senate seats, and probable control of the Senate.
The coming Presidential election in 2012 also looks very promising. The Republican "bench" is loaded with great candidates, all rock solid Conservatives. In no particular order, Governor Mitch Daniels of Indiana, former Governor Tim Pawlently of Minnesota, Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey, Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi, Governor Bob McDonnell of Virginia, former Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and my personal favorite, former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin. I should also mention former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, a past favorite, who is a RINO (Republican in Name Only), and with the upsurge of Conservatism occurring in the country and Republican party, I don't think he has much of a chance.Who do the Democrats have? Illinois Senator Dick Durbin?, New York Senator Chuck Schumer?, and of course Hillary Clinton - all far left Marxists in the mold of Obama, whose agenda was just been repudiated.
Barack Obama has been quoted as saying he would rather be a good one term president than a mediocre two term president. Looks like it's going to be a lousy one term president. Jimmy Carter is absolutely ecstatic. He is no longer the worst president in U.S. history.
I would say the future of the United States of America looks very bright indeed.

Bye, Bye!

If you look close, although the cup is upside down, the bag is still in the cup!

Hey, "Tommy Boy"! Are You Still Out There?

Back on January 4, 2010, I posted my following "Letter to the Editor", right after Scott Brown's election, in Massachusetts, to the U.S. Senate.

Massachusetts vote says People serious about change
To all you arrogant elitists in Washington, D.C., do you remember the Tea Parties from last year? We rallied and told you we wanted no part of stimulus spending, expanded government and government-run health care. You didn't listen, and called us right-wing extremists and mobsters.

During the August recess, you had town-hall meetings, and we told you we didn't want huge government spending, expanded government and government-run health care. You didn't listen, and called us right-wing extremists, mobsters and Nazis.

We took the governors' elections in Virginia and New Jersey in November. Once again, you didn't listen.

The Senate seat of the late Ted Kennedy had been in Democratic hands since 1952, in a state that hadn't elected a Republican senator (a liberal) since 1972. We took the seat in a state won by President Obama by 26 percentage points in the November 2008 presidential election.

Democrats ran their 2008 campaign on "transparency." Legislation would be debated on C-SPAN, with bipartisan support, and it would be posted on the Internet for at least 72 hours so people could read it. Instead, negotiations went behind closed doors; no Republicans need apply. Legislation was brought to the floor and voted on before anyone had time to read it.

If we can take the Senate seat in Massachusetts, there is not a safe Democratic congressional seat in the country. Reps. Jim Himes, 4th District, Chris Murphy, 5th District, Rosa DeLauro, 3rd District, John Larson, 1st District, and Joe Courtney, 2nd District, are you getting the message yet? I suggest you start paying attention to the people if you want to continue your political careers past Nov. 2, 2010.

Enjoy those Georgetown parties while you can. We're taking back our country.

Tea Parties? Listen to Tea Parties? All 10 of you?

Town Halls? Listen to rude people that purposely went to these to obstruct and shout? Not a chance.

If you really think the recent Dem setbacks have anything to do with the Republican or Conservative message, then you need to stop smoking the Palin Pipe... There was no way Obama was going to recover this economy faster than public expectations required (no matter what he said), and it was almost certain that when he didn't, Republicans would begin claiming the reason for his support drop was because Obama was out of touch. People that are actually paying attention don't fall for your rhetoric, and those of us that believe in accountability refuse to let the previous 8 years of mis-management be forgotten.

Pretty common game you're playing. Just waiting for you to invoke the words "Liberty" and "Tyranny" a handful of times in your blog to completely confirm you've drunk the Koolaid.

We told you to start paying attention to us, and once again you showed your arrogance and elitism, and you didn't listen. Well, we now know the results of the election and it sure isn't pretty for the Democrat "ruling class". Nancy who? I have my base established right where I want it, with the majority of other Americans, and I guess we 10 Tea Party members did a pretty good job, didn't we, Tommy Boy!!

How the Left Operates - Hypocrisy 101

The Department of Justice is supposed to uphold the law, not be a political arm of the White House. How can anyone with any sense of right and wrong support these people????

Time to take out the garbage from Washington and Hartford. Had enough of the bulls***, then get out and vote tomorrow. Watch the video, then take back our country, and send Socialism to the dustbin of history.
