"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

My Father in Law, Walter Naatz served in Indiana at the same time. Seaman Second Class. 6th Division.
ReplyDeleteMy father's name is Carleton Quint. I'll mention your father in law to him and see if he knew him.
ReplyDeleteDid he attend any of the reunions?
Walter Naatz passed away in January, 1965. He did attend several reunions in the mid 1950's that I know of.
