Huh?

The Diversity Committee of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) is seeking to “inform and sensitize” reporters nationwide about how “offensive” the term “illegal immigrant” is to Latinos.
Diversity Committee member Leo Laurence announced the campaign against “illegal immigrant” and “illegal alien” terminology in the latest issue of the organization’s magazine, Quill, writing that those who have not obtained citizenship, but have entered the country without any prior approval should be called “undocumented workers” or “undocumented immigrants".

Let's see if  have this right. An immigrant is someone who enters a country with the intent of settling there. Illegal is defined as "prohibited by law". So if someone migrates to a country against that country's laws, he is an immigrant who is there illegally. Hence, he is by definition an "illegal immigrant".
Can we PLEASE stop with this politically correct BS? I guess, if you don't want to be called an "illegal immigrant", then you should't come into the country illegally. I'm not a rocket scientist, but even I understand that!! I'm really sorry if you're offended, but that's "tough you know what".

How to Get a Booming Economy.

Want to have a booming economy? It's really very simple if the "Wizards of Smart"(Thanks, Rush) in Washington, D.C. would get their collective heads out of their ***** and do what works.

1. Repeal Obamacare - That should be # 1 on the list. Because businesses don't know what the
final regulations are going to be once fully implemented, they are frozen. They won't hire or
    expand with all that uncertainty.

2. Repeal the recently passed Financial Regulation legislation. Why? See #1.

3. Reduce the Corporate Tax rate from 35% to 20%. We currently have the highest tax
rate in the world and this will put the United States more in line with other countries
corporate tax rates and will result in more jobs being created in this country and
fewer in overseas countries by U.S. Corporations.

4. Cut all income tax brackets by 2-4% across the board.

5. Eliminate the inheritance tax.

6. Cut the capital gains and dividends taxes in half.

7. Make people who are on unemployment prove that they are actively seeking a
job in order to continue collecting. Unemployment insurance should not be a
    new welfare program.

8. Eliminate the minimum wage.

9. Freeze discretionary Federal spending at 2008 levels.

10. Stop the EPA from instituting "cap and trade" regulations in early january, 2011

11. Open all potential areas to oil drilling. This includes the East and West coasts,
ANWR, and the Bakken formation in the Dakotas and eastern Montana. The
current restrictions on oil drilling has cost jobs in the Gulf of Mexico and some
drilling rigs have left the Gulf, never to return. Gas prices are rising because of the
growing world wide demand for oil and by restricting drilling in this country, we are
becoming more dependent on foreign oil. Has anyone noticed that gas is well
over $3 a gallon now, and predicted to be at $5 a gallon by 2012? These increased
costs are passed on to consumers in prices for everything. Expanding drilling will
result in lower oil costs and tens of thousands of new jobs.

If all of this was done with cooperation between Congress and President Obama the election in 2012 would see Obama being reelected and most of Congress being reelected. If most of this is not done, the economy will continue to stagnate, the deficit and national debt will continue to increase, and people will continue to suffer, and Obama will be a one term President.
If all or most of the items I have listed above were done early next year, then by election day 2012 the unemployment rate would be approaching 6.0 and falling, and the federal budget deficit would be below $400 billion and falling.
Unfortunately, Obama does not want a booming economy, because that goes totally against his philosophy and agenda. Get a growing, booming economy going, and more people are less dependent on the government, and Obama wants as many people as possible dependent on the government, so it has control over them. Don't believe me? Let' see what happens over the next two years.
If anyone wishes to comment on this post, please don't tell me about Bush's policies, the "evil rich', or any other Left wing talking points. Tell me what YOU would do to get the economy started, if you don't agree with my ideas.

This Says it ALL -How True, How True!

I'm just passing on the Season's greetings I got from my Buddy, Dave.

To All My Liberal/Progressive Friends:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.  I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2011, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishes.

To My Conservative Friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank God for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie

I used to be against human cloning, but will make a exception, if we can clone Governor Christie and send copies of him to Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and California.

This post courtesy of RadioVice Online:

Christie steps in and commutes sentence of New Jersey man convicted in gun case

We covered this story and few weeks ago and looks like we have a happy resolution. If you remember, Brian Aitken, had been convicted of illegally carrying two guns and was sentenced to 7 years in prison. Except that the guns were purchased legally, and the Judge never allowed the jury to hear specific exception clauses in New Jersey law that would have likely acquitted Brian in this case. Christie has stepped in, thankfully.
What makes the case so agregious is really the conduct of Judge Morley. Even though Aitken had purchased the guns legally in Colorado, and under New Jersey law, was allowed to transport them from one residence to another in the process of moving (in this case from Colorado to New Jersey), and even though the guns were locked and unloaded and stuffed in a secure box in his trunk, Morley would not allow the jury to hear the state’s exception laws, despite the fact that the jury asked for such information three times.
Christie has since dismissed Morley from the bench and has now commuted Aitken’s sentence.
Brian Aitken, who was convicted of illegally possessing two handguns that he had legally purchased in Colorado, will be spending Christmas out of prison.
Gov. Chris Christie commuted Aitken’s sentence, from seven years to time served, according to an order the governor signed today.
Aitken had appealed to Christie for commutation after being sentenced in August. According to the commutation order, Aitken will be released as “soon administratively possible.”
In 2009, Aitken was arrested for possessing two handguns and ammunition — the guns were unloaded — after state police found them in the trunk of his car. Aitken was visiting his mother in Burlington County when she became concerned about his well-being and called police.

Yeh, Soak the Rich

We keep hearing that "the rich" are not paying their fair share of taxes. You know, those evil Wall Street types, Corporate executives, etc. Well, I have come to the conclusion that they should probably pay at least 50% tax on their earned incomes, but I think we should take it one step further.  Let's include a stipulation that all of the "rich" (anyone with a net worth over $1 million) pay 30% of their net worth to the government. Over the course of several years, their net worth would dwindle until it was in the range of the "Middle class", What could be more "fair" than that? Everyone would be equal and we could stop the "class warfare" because everybody would basically be the same. The Lefties Socialistic Utopia would be here and we could all live in Nirvana forever. Imagine how many trillions of dollars a plan like that could raise. We could probably come close to paying off the national debt the first year. I mean this would include people like the Kennedy's, John Kerry, John Corzine, Jay Rockefeller, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, etc. Heck, we could probably get $1-2 trillion just from the people I mentioned. Why haven't any of those Progressive/Liberal people in Congress thought of this? Oh, that's right, all those people I mentioned are Liberals, and being the hypocrites they are, they wouldn't want to take from their own!! Nope, we have to take money from the evil "rich" conservatives, not the good "rich" Liberals.

ACLU - Merry Christmas

As a lot of you are probably aware the ACLU is waging a constant war on Christianity, especially Christmas. Here's a idea for you. Take those left over Christmas cards you have and send them to the address at the end of this post. They will have to take the time to open them, because they will think they contain a donation. Just don't put your return address on them and make sure they have "Christmas " as part of the message inside. I'm personally going to send them at least 10.
We should share our wishes with everyone during this Christmas season.

Let's Go Fishing

Back in ancient Chinese times, sometime between the 4th and 6th century BC, Lao Tzu was the founder of Taoism, the mystical 'way' or 'path' that many have followed since, and with him came the many sayings for which he is renowned.
One of the best known is the quote, "Give a man a fish; feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish; feed him for a lifetime".
That quote is one of the best analogies for the difference between Liberal/Progressives and Conservatives today.
Take any person who is "down and out", for any reason and what does the the Liberal/Progressive want to do? They want to give him some kind of handout (a fish), so he won't be "down and out" anymore, but what happens when the "handout" runs out? They give him another one (fish) and on it goes. Where does the handout (all the fish) come from? It comes from people who have picked themselves up, gone to work, and made themselves successful (taught themselves or been taught to fish). The Conservative wants that "down and out" person to be given the chance to pick himself up, go to work, and make themselves successful (teach themselves or be taught how to fish). By doing this, that person becomes self sufficient, and does not take anything away from the economy (large pool of fish) and actually adds to it (more fish)and creates more wealth for the entire population.
Why then do the Liberal/Progressives act the way they do? Can't they see what teaching a man to fish can do for him? Of course they can, but by doing that they are no longer needed to give him fish, he can get his own, so they lose their control over him. As long as they have the ability to determine whether he eats or not, they control him. If there is one thing that Liberal/Progressives want it is control. It is their sole reason for existence. For decades they have kept minorities down and under their control by using this exact method. Conservatives want the best for everyone, and will do whatever they can to help people become successful on their own, so they no longer need to take from others, who through hard work have built their own successful lives, because they have become successful themselves.

How to Stop School Shootings!

Want to put an end to school shootings? There is a very simple solution. Allow any person who has a handgun permit in their state to be able to carry concealed on their "campus". Since you have to be 18 to carry a handgun, probably very few high school students would be able to, but teachers and administrators should be allowed to carry. Students, teachers, and administrators should be allowed to carry on college campuses. How many people would have been saved at Virginia Tech University if one of those students had been carrying? How many at Columbine High School if a teacher or Administrator hand been armed? Would it even have happened, if the shooter knew that someone might be armed? Would anybody go anywhere and attempt a mass shooting if they knew they might be confronted by an armed individual?
Anyone who has a carry permit has been fingerprinted, their background checked by the FBI, and have taken a course in safe and proper firearm handling.
Isn't it at least worth consideration? The shooting at the school in Pearl, MS in 1997 was stopped by a Principal who ran 1/4 mile to his car and back and held the student at gunpoint until police arrived. The shooting at Appalachian State School of Law was stopped by two students who when the shooting started, went to their vehicles, and retrieved lawfully carried firearms and confronted the shooter, ending it.
Take a look at the video with an open mind and think about how maybe we should change our outlook.

Merry Christmas!!

To all you Lefties, Atheists, and the ACLU, I say, "Merry Christmas", not "Happy Holiday's". It's a "Christmas" tree, "Christmas" vacation, "Christmas" presents, and it is the "Christmas" season, the celebration of the birth of the baby Jesus. It is not "Winter Holiday"! In this age of Political Correctness, I suppose I am offending someone when I say "Merry Christmas". Well, that's tough! It is not my job in life to make sure you are never offended. If you are looking for an apology, keep looking.
As a member of the Tea Party, I have been offended numerous times over the past two years. I have been called a mobster, a radical extremist, a Nazi, a Racist, and who knows what else. Was I offended? You betcha! Do I expect a apology? It would be nice, but I'll just consider the source, and know it is beneath those ruling class elitists who think they know what is best for me, to stoop to an apology.
So let's just say that when I see a apology, I'll extend one to anyone who is offended by me wishing them a "Merry Christmas".
The war on Christmas and Christianity continues. Here's another example.
