Huh?

The Diversity Committee of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) is seeking to “inform and sensitize” reporters nationwide about how “offensive” the term “illegal immigrant” is to Latinos.
Diversity Committee member Leo Laurence announced the campaign against “illegal immigrant” and “illegal alien” terminology in the latest issue of the organization’s magazine, Quill, writing that those who have not obtained citizenship, but have entered the country without any prior approval should be called “undocumented workers” or “undocumented immigrants".

Let's see if  have this right. An immigrant is someone who enters a country with the intent of settling there. Illegal is defined as "prohibited by law". So if someone migrates to a country against that country's laws, he is an immigrant who is there illegally. Hence, he is by definition an "illegal immigrant".
Can we PLEASE stop with this politically correct BS? I guess, if you don't want to be called an "illegal immigrant", then you should't come into the country illegally. I'm not a rocket scientist, but even I understand that!! I'm really sorry if you're offended, but that's "tough you know what".
