State Legislature

Well, once again the Democrat controlled Legislature has ended it's regular session without a State budget. Hey, let's give them a break, they had much more important stuff to take care of before they got into the budget. I mean after all they had to discuss an apology for slavery, open alcohol containers in cars, deposits on water bottles and plastic bags in grocery stores, decriminalizing small quantities of marijuana, banning smoking in the casinos, banning toxic cleaners in schools, getting BPA out of baby bottles, requiring restaurants to post the calorie content of their meals, changing the way U.S. Senate vacancies are filled, banning the owning of exotic pets, trying to tell the Catholic church how they run their finances, and last but not least and probably most important, once again allowing live reindeer in Christmas displays.
Hello, Connecticut residents, are you out there, and are you awake? When are we going to vote these moronic jerks out of office and elect some people who are going to get their priorities straight? The State budget is #1 priority.
